The Planning Commission is responsible for developing and carrying out an ongoing program for the physical, social and economic growth of the City of York which includes both the City's development and redevelopment. The Commission continually monitors and updates the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision Ordinance.
In addition, the Planning Commission takes action on Re-Zoning and Amendment requests as well as Preliminary and Final Subdivision requests and Home Occupations.
