To assist in the governing process, the City of York utilizes various Boards and Commissions. Each Board or Commission serves an important role and is comprised of citizens who are nominated and appointed by the City of York City Council.
The City is now accepting Letters of Interest for the York Housing Authority Board of Commissioners until 5:00pm on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Council will discuss potential appointments during its September 1, 2026, Council Meeting for one term expiration that ends on September 30, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be a resident of the City of York and must have resided within the City limits for at least one (1) year prior to submitting an application.
Serving on a City Board or Commission is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our community.
